Damage caused to Apple products by water and other liquids is not covered in their warranty.
iPhones and iPod touch devices even have water indicators inside the phone that change colour when the product is submerged.
Apple will not replace the iPhone/iPod.

Excellent service. Fixed my 3G that went through the wash. Much quicker and cheaper than other fixers.
